College of Engineering Advisory Board: Diversity Programs Committee

The COEAB: Diversity Programs Committee for the Women in Engineering and Multicultural Engineering Programs is made up of corporate representatives from various engineering firms in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, and New York. Corporate members provide external counsel to the Women in Engineering and Multicultural Engineering Programs in the formulation of their goals and objectives. They assist in identifying strategies, setting priorities, and advising Diversity Programs staff on the means to develop resources and enhance goals for MEP and WEP. Finally, its members assist in strengthening financial support of the MEP and WEP.

The COEAB: Diversity Programs Committee meets twice a year at the University of Massachusetts Amherst to discuss and plan on strategies, program activities, and events for both programs.
